Carina O’Reilly

Carina worked at IHS Jane’s for seven years as a writer, editor and senior analyst on European security and organised crime. A specialist on politics, policing and security issues in Europe, Carina is also a doctoral researcher at Anglia Ruskin University where she is researching the relationships between legitimacy, accountability and and local policing. She has a Masters degree from Cambridge University in Social and Political Sciences and holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
As editor of Policing Insight, published by CoPaCC, Carina is responsible for the editorial output of the site, liaising with our network of expert contributors and commissioning articles.
